GoKites are the main kiting specialist in the North East of England, based on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne, near the home of the Sunderland International Kite Festival. Come and visit our kite shop or watch for us at one of the Kite Festivals we attend. Our stand can be found at Beverly, Cleethorpes, Bedford, Sunderland, New Brighton, Fylde, Morcambe, Beacon Country Park, Whitley Bay, High Force, Harrogate and Chester.

Our kites are selected from various specialised sources to allow the customer a variation in choice of quality, performance and of course price. We carry simple childrens kites, entry level stunt kites or trick kites, large single line delta's, parafoils from single line to 4 line, as well as a range of kiteboards and buggies. Kites range in price from as little as £1.99 for young Children, up to what you want to pay for the more specialist kites or extreme power kites. We believe in giving value for money and honest guidance. Kites are currently sourced from many major manufacturers, 'Rhombus', 'PKD',  'Premier', 'Colours in Motion', 'Go Fly a Kite', 'New Tech', 'Spirit of Air', 'Flying Wings', 'HQ', 'Didakite', 'Jackite', 'Knoop'.

We carry a large range of kites from small pocket sleds and micro diamonds for chilren up to large inflatables costing over £300. Simple two line starter kites from only £4.99 to excentric trick kites at over £200. Entry level power kites from £9.99 up to large traction kites at over £500. We also stock carbon rod and tube, GRP rod and tube, ripstop nylon, and all the bits and pieces you may want.  

We also carry a large range of  garden windtoys, windsocks, windspinners, kite tails, kite lights, and other accessories including kite lines and handles. Fishing poles, also known as roach poles, display poles or windsock poles are always in stock from 3m to 9m.
